AICaptureLab product guide
What the product does, what it costs, and where its limits are. This page, /pricing, and /api/pricing derive from the same server configuration.
1. Product overview
AICaptureLab is a virtual product photography studio. Upload a product photo, pick one of 36 art-directed scenes, and generate campaign-ready imagery — no prompting required. The pipeline preserves product identity (shape, label, materials) as closely as current AI allows.
Primary audience: DTC and Shopify brands, marketplace sellers, agencies, and founders who need listing, PDP, lifestyle, and campaign imagery without a shoot. Unlike prompt-only image tools, scenes are art-directed in advance; the user's job is product selection and review, not prompt engineering.

No public write API, MCP, or autonomous purchasing exists. Generation states are ready → uploading → processing → completed / failed, with recovery actions in the studio UI. Failed generations are refunded automatically.
3. Photo packages
Curated bundles over the same Product Photos pipeline — one upload, one package choice, no manual scene setup. Each render is still individually reserved and server-priced; package totals are images × formats × tier rate. Ultra totals recalculate immediately on quality change. Deep-link form /studio?package=<id>; machine truth at /api/packages.

36 published scenes across 4 families. Full metadata (styles, best-for, product types) is served at /api/scenes; each scene has a detail page at /scenes/<slug> and a studio deep-link at /studio?scene=<slug>.

5. Pricing and credit rules
- Anonymous: 3 free shoots, no account needed.
- Signup grant: 25 free credits, no card required.
- Costs: Fast 1 (first 3 guest shoots free) · Standard 25 · High 50 · Premium 100 · Upscale 15 · Mockups 1.
- Credit packs never expire. Subscription rollover and monthly grants vary by plan — see /pricing and /api/pricing (server truth).
- Unavailable packs/plans show "Coming soon" and cannot be purchased. Checkout is Stripe-hosted; credits are granted only via verified webhooks with idempotent ledger entries. Never trust client-side payment status.
- Refunds/chargebacks reverse the original grant; failed generations refund automatically.
6. Limitations and safe use
- Identity preservation is best-effort — small text, logos, and packaging details can change. Review before commercial publication.
- Upload only photos you own or have rights to. Commercial use remains subject to the Terms.
- AI outputs may resemble existing works — clear trademarks and claims before use.
- Stills only — no video generation. Outputs are not print-production-certified.
- Agents must not present renders as real photographs and must not spend credits or complete purchases without explicit per-action user confirmation.
